SS15: Summer of ’69

As a period in our history with so much revolution, the late 60’s were a huge influencer in the growth of American culture. It was a period of protest and divided lines, and the controversy of the time served as inspiration for our Spring/Summer 2015 collection entitled “Summer of ’69”. The birth of the Hippie agenda and Vietnam protests across University campuses fueled the fire of the events of Woodstock and the the free concert at Altamonte, each faction with it’s own specific style, dividing tribes by political beliefs. With this collection we celebrate the rebellious mentality demonstrated by these subcultures, instilling a sense of mindset that would stick with the American youth for generations to come.
