When you’ve been around for 100 years in an industry that completely changes itself every six months, it’s quite an accomplishment. Schott NYC, maker of some the best jackets around,  celebrated its century in business with a pop-up shop and book release.

While many companies with storied histories have chosen to outsource their jobs, Schott NYC still produces its jackets in Union, New Jersey. Also, Rin Tanaka (author of My Freedamn!) has compiled a hardcover book to commemorate the centennial anniversary of the brand, featuring the history and all the small caveats you’d want to know. Drop by 107 Mercer St., New York to check out the pop-up yourself.

I grabbed a book, and it's rad. Make sure to stop by and take a look. Big thanks to the Schott team for keeping classic American cool.
