ICON’s Derelicts

I know videos about ICON are starting to pop up everywhere, but it’s so right up my ally, and American made, that I couldn’t not post it. ICON is a company I found out about a few years ago. They build their own versions of original JEEPs and Broncos as well as building what they call “Derelicts”. Their “Derelict” is essentially an aged and rusted classic beauty on the inside, and brand new, “off the showroom floor” on the inside, with even the modern details. Feltraiger Flagship Grand Opening

We are very excited to announce the Grand Opening party for our very first store, the flagship FELTRAIGER store. Located in NYC at 158 Allen street on a killer block with great company! The store will have a very clean gallery like appearance with nods to classic American culture. Come join us on March 22nd at 9pm at 158 Allen to join in on the festivities. Around Town: Footwear Buying for the Store

Lately we have been on the other side of things. After cutting whole sale and opening this store, We plan on carrying a few other American brands along with our private label. Instead of showing our brand at the trade shows, Dan and I are now attending as buyers. So our hunt for the right footwear continues, and I think we have something real good here. We recently visited the “Vintage” and “Walk Overs” show room. All American made and some true classics. We found some great stuff to carry when we open, and more amazing things to follow shortly after. Here are a few photos from our experience.

Custom Plaid Camo- $176
The custom plaid camo is a mixture of a green, white, and khaki plaids. These are a light weight and great for Spring. American made and limited to 30 pieces. The most unique part of this garment is that every single one is different. We mixed and matched everything from the back yoke, and colar stand, to the chest pocket and front placket. So yours will truly be 1 of a kind. I photographed 3 together so you can see how diverse they are.

R.I.P. Antenna Magazine

It was a sad day when we got the email from Antenna Magazine letting us know that they have officially folded. Antenna has been a big part of Feltraiger’s life, being the first press the brand ever received, and actually was the thing that gave me the confidence to leave my job and put all my time and money into Feltraiger. It has been a cultural staple and a big part of the menswear scene. I am a huge fan of collecting print magazines and have been reading Antenna since the first issue. There is a placeholder on the website indicating they will return in the summer, I’m guessing as an online magazine, so hopefully Antenna won’t be gone for good. Thank you Antenna for all your love and support! Much appreciated!!!!

Store Shopping at Bibs Auto

We just took a great trip to Jersey. Thats right, we went to Bibs Auto to find a car to use in some way for our main display in the store. Walking around an auto selvedge yard is fun! And makes for tons of great Pics. Take a look as we browse around.

“Warp and Weft” Denim Documentary
